How do we address the barriers preventing working class talent from succeeding in the arts?

Manchester is the creative capital of the UK and home to a wealth of talent. But with research showing a growing class gap in arts and culture, working class people are increasingly underrepresented. This research looks to identify the barriers to working class participation in the creative industries. It will provide an evidence base to work with partners across our region and develop a place-based strategy to widen access and create opportunity for all.
